Amerika Plads and Sivantos Singapore featured in FRAME Magazine’s latest book

Where We Work: Design Lessons from the Modern Office is the latest book release from Dutch magazine publisher FRAME, examining how the future office space will look like – and how it will adapt to a post pandemic world.

Two projects from PLH Arkitekter’s portfolio of corporate architecture and workplace design is featured in the 320 page, richly illustrated tome.

Amerika Plads, multi-user building, Denmark – FRAME writes: “PLH imbues multi-user office hub Amerika Plads with simplicity and intuitive functionality. The interior is warm, pure and sophisticated with offices dressed in blond timber and ash acoustic panels. Work areas are grouped into open flexible pockets with diverse support spaces nearby, supporting different styles of working over the course of the day.”

Sivantos, headquarters, Singapore – FRAME writes: “PLH looked to highlight Sivantos’ vision in its design for the global headquarters of this leading hearing aid company. The 13,260 sqm. office was designed to facilitate research, development and production and improve knowledge-sharing among employees with diverse skill sets. The reception area is filled with a voluptuous sculptural sound wall made of MDF fins, boldly exemplifying the translation of impalpable sound waves into physical space.”

Amsterdam based FRAME Magazine is a global platform for professional interior designers, which through publication of books and magazines explores innovation and creativity in spatial design. Where We Work can be purchased here.
