From power plant to a framework for medicines safety

A former power plant for the DS-industries factory complex on Islands Brygge was transformed to serve as the new headquarters for the Danish Medicines Agency. This transformation preserves the site's architectural historical heritage while supporting public health through modern and state-of-the-art laboratories, archives, and administrative spaces. The project exemplifies urban renewal, offering cultural value while strengthening the framework for Denmark’s medical regulation and safety.
