Winners of framework agreement for Københavns Ejendomme

With the framework agreement, KEJD brings together three companies, each contributing clearly defined and complementary expertise: PLH as lead consultant, with architectural and architectural technology expertise and a focus on users; ABC with broad engineering expertise; and Cubic with specialist competencies in construction management, resource mapping and occupational health and safety. In the years ahead, the three companies will work together to maintain, develop and extend the lifespan of the buildings that Copenhageners use every day.

PLH: Lead consultant with a focus on people and the future of buildings

As lead consultant, PLH is responsible for delivering projects safely to completion, drawing on architectural and architectural technology expertise that keeps in mind the people who will ultimately use the buildings, whether a school, a fire station or a home. Under the previous framework agreement, PLH's projects included renovation and transformation work at Rådmandsgade School, Amager Kulturpunkt, Copenhagen City Hall, the Central Fire Station and Slagtehusgade in the Copenhagen meatpacking district.

"Through our collaboration with KEJD over the past four years, we have built up solid knowledge of the processes and decisions that underpin the work on Copenhagen's public properties. These are important and meaningful tasks that must be carried out in broad collaboration with technical specialists and users in order to preserve and improve the existing building stock," says Claus Johannessen, Senior Project Manager at PLH.

ABC Rådgivende Ingeniører: The broad engineering expertise behind the projects

ABC Rådgivende Ingeniører contributes the broad technical and engineering expertise needed to ensure that renovations and transformations of the existing building stock will last for many years to come, with professional rigor and a focus on extending the buildings' lifespan.

Cubic Group: Continuity from the first surveys to the finished building

Cubic Group contributes specialist competencies in construction management and occupational health and safety management. Cubic Group steers projects safely to completion on site and ensures that the work complies with occupational health and safety legislation at all times, a key prerequisite for carrying out renovation and transformation projects responsibly.
