Transforming travel experiences through thoughtful design

The transformation of the check-in area at Copenhagen Airport enhances passenger experience by meeting the growing demand for efficient check-in facilities. Designed within a complex space between four existing buildings, the project was carefully carried out while the airport remained fully operational. Key infrastructure, including baggage systems and fire safety measures, was seamlessly reconfigured to maintain functionality and safety throughout. The new check-in area features a spacious double-height atrium with circular skylights, fostering a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Harmoniously integrated with the historically significant Terminal 2, the design balances modern efficiency with architectural heritage.
