AP Huset wins Naturstensprisen 2025

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of celebrating Naturstensprisen 2025, presented to AP Pension’s outstanding new headquarters building in Nordhavn, with special recognition of AP Huset, which we designed as architects and interior designers.

The event took place in the building’s magnificent atrium together with the visionary client AP Pension, artist Michael Kvium, our skilled collaborators, and Stenhuggerlauget.

The award recognizes the project’s rare holistic approach to the use of natural stone. From the precisely crafted stairs and flooring to the sculptural reception desk in Italian limestone and Kvium’s exceptional floor mosaic in Palladiana technique, made from more than 100 types of European natural stone.

At PLH, we are proud to have created a headquarters where art, architecture, craftsmanship, and design merge into a cohesive, human-centred experience. From the very beginning, AP Pension’s ambition was clear: to create a working environment that inspires, connects, and fosters pride.

The result is a true Gesamtkunstwerk. An atrium building where art is integrated into architecture and elevates the everyday life of 550 employees.
