The vision for this competition proposal is to create a great living learning environment that secures a school for the future. An "intelligent reorganization" of the functions of the scool in existing buildings that aims to accommodate a modern and multi-flexible education program.

The design activates and revives the boarder areas of the school and outdoor spaces with simple, powerful architectural and landscape interventions. A lively link is created between the green reserve and school grounds, in the form of a staircase element and a new place which becomes a rallying point for students, the school's new users and local community.

The school is presented as a "miniature" of the city - a city in the city appreciating and developing history itself, by including, enhancing and disseminating existing urban and landscape qualities. The outdoor areas connect school and leisure time together, and by virtue of the new structures, the school's area connects to the fabric of the city, and functions as a lively hub in relation to the city as a whole.
