PLH Arkitekter designs new headquarters for GF Forsikring

Bright and welcoming, green and with natural materials, flexible and fully focused on sustainability - these are the key words for the new headquarters which has just been announced. PLH is designing the building and the workplace design.

The new headquarters will be located in Odense's Cortex Park neighborhood. AP Pension is building the headquarters with Raundahl & Moesby as turnkey contractor, and it is expected to be ready for occupancy in 2026.

"This is a building that combines dynamic openness, quality-conscious material choices and a responsible focus on sustainable solutions - all united by light and elegant architecture with clear Nordic references. It reflects GF's values, strategy and visual identity, while providing employees with an inspiring, stimulating environment to work in," says Lars Toksvig, partner at PLH Arkitekter.

With its 16,200 square meters, it will be a striking building, but also one where you feel a great sense of cohesion and community. The design emphasizes that employees, customers and guests experience a vibrant and inspiring headquarters full of activity.

The design also emphasizes providing employees with surroundings that promote well-being, job satisfaction and provide plenty of light, air, and visibility for the individual. In addition to office areas, meeting rooms, quiet rooms and lounges, each floor will contain two café areas where employees can meet informally with colleagues, do touch down work, enjoy a refreshment or simply take a well-deserved rest on one of the floor balconies.

Sustainability has been a key parameter in the design of the new building, which is expected to receive a DGNB Gold certification. Among other things, there is a focus on CO2 reduction and social considerations.
